What is Open Access Endoscopy?
Open access endoscopy/colonoscopy means that your GP can refer you directly for an endoscopy/colonoscopy without needing to see a gastroenterologist first in our rooms.
It is a safe and effective way of offering timely endoscopy to our patients. Your GP will assess your suitability for open access pathway. If you would rather see us first in the rooms to discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure, please inform us and we will organise a consultation.
